Crossing Lines: An American Ride

Crossing Lines: An American Ride

Crossing Lines – An American Ride follows Zac Bookman, a tech CEO, as he undertakes a challenging cycling journey across the United States, from San Francisco to Chesapeake Bay. Along the way, he faces unexpected hurdles, including detours from California’s wildfires and a flash flood in Utah that sweeps away his support vehicle and devastates a local town. Despite these setbacks, Zac’s determination drives him forward, while filmmaker Barry Walton captures both the trials of the journey and the diverse landscapes and people they encounter. The film offers a unique perspective on America, blending Zac’s personal quest for redemption with a deeper exploration of the country’s culture, struggles, and spirit. Finalist – Seattle Film Festival 2024.
