After a failed experiment, DR. NO, a malevolent scientist obsessed with dominating the world, and a clever and resourceful 9-year-old boy named CHIP, are sent by a particle accelerator beam to the atomic world (MICROWORLD). Chip will be assisted by his inseparable friends MERC (mercury atom), FER (iron), and HIDRO (hydrogen) to thwart Dr. No's plans and at the same time achieve a return home.
