Joyce and Bruce were once a happy couple. They both shared a dream of working in America as nurses. Bruce flies ahead to the US, while Joyce is left behind struggling to save enough money to in order follow him. Their long distance relationship puts a strain on them, eventually forcing them to break up. Joyce decides that she no longer desires to fulfil her American dream. Unfortunately, Joyce is diagnosed with breast cancer. Bruce, who is on vacation in the Philippines, learns about Joyce's condition. He offers to help Joyce with her medical bills. Eventually their feelings for each other are rekindled. As Joyce fights for her life, can she also fight against her feelings for Bruce since he is already married to Victoria?
