Game Ready: Summer Session

Created in 2020 due to the absence of a college softball league during summer, The League has quickly risen to an elite status as players from all corners of the United States found their way to Southern California by word of mouth from other collegiate players and coaches. In 2022, The League’s membership swelled to over 100% and its popularity, reached one of the top TV sports network to broadcast its games in the summer of 2023. The season consist of games on Saturday and Sunday, with weekday workouts. Some of the players that enter our league are recovering from injuries, interested in continuing their skill set for their new season, transferring to another college or simply seeking the passion for the game they once had when they were younger. As our “Summer Session” begins, so does our stories as we get to know who our characters are, as they pack from their respective college apartments and dormitory rooms and travel to Southern California. Just as we have seen on American Idol and The Voice, with back stories, capturing our hearts with emotional stories, so will Game Ready, Summer Session of why they do what they do and understand, nothing is easy. As they take their journey, so will our audience, understanding the five points; what, why, where, how and when. From week to week, witness their stories unfold. From their personal lives, the classroom, to the playing field. Untold, suspenseful and emotionally driven. From action to suspense. Game Ready “Summer Session” is sure to capture your heart week after week and keep you coming for more.
