At 18, Bren T. Park is already a rising superstar in the world of Korean Basketball, but on the night of the biggest game of his career, his entire family perishes in an accident. This devastating blow leads him to a path of self destruction, and his guild makes him swear to never play basketball again.

Then the tides turn when his mother’s death opens a mysterious secret about his identity. Bren is a product of an ill-fated affair, conceived in a country he’s only heard of from the stories of his childhood nanny, a Filipina named Baby.

Lost and desperate for answers, he travels to this foreign land to start over and find another life outside of the court.
