Profumi d'Algeri

Karima is an established Algerian photographer, who lives in France and has closed all contact for twenty years with her country of origin and her family. While celebrating the latest success, a phone call from her mother urgently calls her to reckon with the past. His brother Murad, in fact, is in prison on charges of terrorism and only her intervention can save him from the death sentence. Karima then leaves for Algiers and for a painful journey into the reality of violence and submission that she thought she had left behind.
