Growing Up with Tiantian

An ordinary family of three that lived in a big city decided to return to nature and experience the rural life since the child is afraid of going to school. When getting along with friends, neighbors and animals, there are endless awkward situations, and of course, tears and laughter. Tiantian, our six-year-old heroine, who is full of love and curiosity for the world, becomes healthy, independent and confident in the beautiful countryside. This is a story of a young couple and their child overcoming difficulties, discovering the beauty of nature, understanding about family and life, and most importantly, growing up together.


This is a story setting in a rural scene that will recall the memory of us all. The plot is rooted in the current society, unfolding the hope and pursuit of ordinary people, as well as their anxiety and stress. In the process of rapid industrialization and urbanization, China's urban and rural areas have undergone dramatic changes. Many challenges such as environment issues, the general anxiety of childrearing, lack of nature education, insufficient rural education, the left-behind kids, mobile Internet development, and rural reconstruction, are universal to every corner of the world, which constitutes the different scenarios of the protagonists in the story. Even though the story is about childhood, both children and adults will have their understanding of different layers of the theme.
