The Gen Z rom-com is named after lead character, Valentine Davidson, whose hopeless attempts of finding love amidst the “hook-up” culture of meaningless one-night stands, superficial relationships of social media, and a general ineptitude in flirting, makes for a highly relatable, hilarious and moving film. Despite living in such liberated times, when people are free to finally be themselves but choose to be fake when it comes to dating, Val finds it impossible to connect and find true love. Until he meets Drew… Drew is an aspiring actress who bolts into Val’s life with the gift of true love, unbeknownst to Val and seemingly, herself.
