The day she passed her bar exam, Silvana Durán witnessed the brutal murder of her father. Years later, as a prosecutor at the Attorney General’s Office, she embarks on a lifetime mission to find and bring to justice the country’s most-wanted drug lord, who also happens to be the man who murdered her father. After being betrayed by her own flesh and blood, her brother, Silvana turns to her bodyguard, Joaquín Muñoz, for consolation and ends up falling in love with him. What Silvana doesn't know is that Joaquìn is in cahoots with the drug cartel and is out to ruin her career. At she point, however, he fails for her for real, but Silvana can't find it in her heart to forgive him.
